On Sunday, October 17, our 4, 5 and 6 grade Religious School students joined students from the Islamic Center of Hunterdon County for a joint program of learning, experiencing and sharing. Working in small groups the students engaged in a "treasure hunt" around our synagogue to introduce our friends to the synagogue and some of the objects it contains. The students also learned about some of the connections between Judaism and Islam. After a pizza and brownies lunch, we traveled to Melick's Cider Mill where we picked apples. Over 100 pounds of apples were donated to a most appreciative Flemington Food Pantry.
