Please join us for a special evening on Friday, May 16, 2008.
5:45 p.m.: Tot Shabbat Service 6:15 p.m.: Shabbat Dinner 7:30 p.m.: Shabbat Service with participation from the First and Second Grade 8:15 p.m.: Oneg Shabbat
Tot Shabbat is a great opportunity for your children to celebrate Shabbat in a more relaxed setting. Together, you and your child(ren) will participate in singing age-appropriate Shabbat songs, joining together reciting the blessings over candles, wine and challah, and having the opportunity to make new friends. Keep an eye out for notices in our newsletter and on our website for future Tot Shabbats. Friends, neighbors, grandparents, aunts and uncles, sisters and brothers are welcome to join us.
We will enjoy a festive Shabbat Dinner as well as some great Shabbat conversations and friendships. We will be serving salad, an adult entree, a children's entree, vegetable, and dessert. A vegetarian entree will be available.
Please feel free to make this evening meet the needs of your family—join us for the Tot Shabbat Service and stay for dinner! (Families with older children are welcome to come for dinner at 6:15 p.m. and remain for the Shabbat Service from 7:30 p.m to 8:15 p.m.) Dinner is the perfect time to meet members of the Or Chadash community as well as your children's friends and parents.
We look forward to sharing Shabbat dinner together. Please register online for the Shabbat Dinner using the registration form below.
