OCTY (Or Chadash Temple Youth)

OCTY at Jewish Heritage Museum in NYCOr Chadash Temple Youth (called "OCTY") welcomes all 8th-12th graders to join in the fun! We have several activities ranging from "Lounge Nites," bowling, social action activities, trips, and special events. Last year we went to New York City to visit the Museum of Jewish Heritage, a 3-D IMAX movie, and out to dinner. We also helped out at the Flemington Food Pantry, ran the games at the Purim Carnival, sponsored a Family Shabbat dinner and a creative service, and had a swim party.

This year, many activities are planned, including laser-tag, bowling, a ski trip, a Hanukkah party, Leap-Year party, trip to the nursing home to provide gifts to the residents and entertainment, Family Shabbat dinner, trip to the Food Pantry, creative service, end-of-the-year trip, and our most favorite get-togethers at Lounge Nites -- just to mention a few of the great activies we have planned!

JOCTY (Junior Or Chadash Temple Youth)

Junior Or Chadash Temple Youth or JOCTY provides a great opportunity for 5th, 6th, and 7th graders to socialize outside of Religious School.  Every 5th, 6th and 7th grader who is a Temple member is automatically a member of JOCTY.  Monthly activities in the past have included a movie night, roller skating, and bowling. Future activities may include service projects and family ice skating.  Each event is on a "pay as you go" basis.  We look forward to your participation!
