Kathy Gohr *Student Cantor* My name is Kathy Gohr and I am honored to serve as your student Cantor for the next year.I have loved music for as long as I can remember and I am looking forward to sharing my passion with this warm and loving community.I fully believe that music is one of the most powerful tools that we have to establish a connection with the Divine. I am currently a third year Cantorial student in the Alliance for Jewish Renewal, a trans-denominational program which is designed for folks like me who are working on their second or third career. I have been involved in the synagogue music scene for over ten years, and have studied with some of those who have been instrumental in the creation of the genre of contemporary Jewish music.
